Aundrea Garcia, DVM

Veterinarian

Orange County native, Dr. Aundrea Garcia is no stranger to the Animal and Bird Clinic. She got her start in the veterinary field as a receptionist in 2017 working her way to veterinary assistant before leaving to vet school. She attended community college at Santa Ana College, where she played women’s soccer and received her Associate of Science degree in Chemistry. Later, transferred to the University of California, Irvine majoring in Biological Sciences and minoring in Political Science.

Aundrea always loved animals and science but never thought the two could come together and become a career. She originally had her start in human medicine, volunteering at Children’s Hospital of Orange County while high school where she met her long-time boyfriend, Jake. Together they have two mixed-breed dogs. Winter the white husky, shepherd mix from a rescue in Los Angeles, and Stark the coconut retriever from St Kitts. She attended Ross University located on the island of St. Kitts and attended Purdue University in Indiana for her final year of clinical rotations all while having the support system of her two pups and loving partner. Dr. Garcia in her free time likes to watch movies, explore new restaurants, attend sporting events, and spend time with family and friends.
